We planned a beauty salon o-ne 10 minutes’ walk from Nakameguro Station on the Tokyu Toyoko and Hibiya lines.
It is one of the quieter properties along Yamanote Street in Nakameguro.
The “o-ne” in the restaurant’s name has an Italian suffix “one” to indicate an increase.
The owner hopes that the beauty and attractiveness of this age group will continue even as we grow older, based on the mountain range of the Japanese word “one”, while the hair design will make each individual’s personality shine even more.
I wanted the interior design to be a gentle space like the personality of the female owner.
Large ornaments are avoided, and the “sign” and “mirror” that symbolize the o-ne are made of brass with white walls and wood.
The interior reflects light diffusely and bounces light to create a gentle space. In addition to a cutting stand, a large mirror was used in the private room to provide a space for various purposes.
In order to reduce cost performance, the floor and ceiling were used as they were and only painted.
Instead of using a large sign on the facade, the subtle brass sign gently creates the name of the store, and the depth is created by changing the material of the shampoo basin into wood.
With the hope of becoming a new place to meet people as a “hair salon for adults.”.
