Concept
A new apple pie specialty shop, “mille mele,” will open in Dangozaka SA (downhill)! After opening in Kamakura and Karuizawa, the sixth restaurant will open in Yamanashi Prefecture. The concept is truly “the best apple pie in the world.” Enjoy the world’s best apple pie made by Italian maestro Marco Paolo Molinari, who won the 10 World Pasta Competition and became the youngest person to win the title. It has also won numerous awards in the world of sweets.
“Miremere” in the store’s name means “1,000 apples” in Italian. The name comes from the pie crust of Miremele. By folding the pie crust into more than 1,000 layers, Milemere was able to achieve a crispy texture with a large puff when baked. The puff pastry is made with plenty of fermented French butter, which is said to be the best in the world. As a result, you can enjoy the sweet, rich aroma when baked and the unique aftertaste of butter. The original custard cream is made with aromatic vanilla, rich eggs, and slightly sweet milk, combined with soy milk cheese cream fermented with lactic acid bacteria for a gentle, high-quality taste.
The restaurant has been well received for its solid taste and has been featured by many media, including the one in Kamakura, making it a popular restaurant loved by locals. We look forward to serving you at our new restaurant in Yamanashi with a full menu of food and souvenirs. Make sure to try this gently sweet apple pie that everyone from children to the elderly can enjoy.
