Introducing a new brand from the well established 1900 year old Kamakura ham Tomioka Shokai!
October 5, 2024: Kamakura Komachi main store reopened after renovation.
The new brand “KAMAHAM PLUS +” started with the concept of “traditional and modern fusion.” Over 120 years since its founding, the company has added new value by incorporating modern needs while inheriting the history and manufacturing methods cultivated by Kamakura Ham Tomioka Shokai.
Targeting the younger generation in particular, we will focus on take-out items such as prosciutto, sausage skewers, croquettes, and Kamakura dogs, as well as upcycled products made from leftovers from the manufacturing process.
The design of the new store is based on the theme of “Passing on Traditions ” and incorporates techniques such as traditional joints and frames of Kamakura temples and shrines, aiming to create a space where visitors can experience a unique connection with the history of Kamakura.
Kamakura Ham Tomioka Shokai will continue to offer special experiences and deliciousness to customers through its KAMAHAM PLUS+ services and products.
