This is a project of an innovation from a girls’ bar to a bakery near Kamiooka station.
Though there are many negative news about food industry lately in Japanese society, “kopenofuwafuwapan”uses flour 100% made in Japan and natural yeast without any chemicals. We have demolished the girls’ bar and planned a large kitchen where cooks can bake homemade bread.
We have tried expressing the healthiness and cleanliness. The walls are black so that the bread will be shown beautifully.
We have used a lot of spot lights so that it attracts customers’ eyes to “today’s bread” which changes daily. We have created the vivid contrast in the space by using the black walls and the white tiles only for the shop sign and the wall behind the cashier.
We hope the bakery will be loved by the local people.
