Concept

“mille mele”, a shop specializing in apple pies, will be opened on Shinnakamise-dori in Asakusa! Following Kamakura and Karuizawa, the fifth store will open in Asakusa. The concept is the world’s best apple pie. Enjoy the world’s best apple pie made by Italian master Marco Paolo Molinari, who won the World Pasta Contest held once every 10 years and became the youngest master in the world. It has received many awards in the world of sweets.

The shop’s name, “mille mele” means “1,000 apples” in Italian. The origin of the name is Miremere’s pie crust. At “mille mele”, the pastry is folded into more than 1,000 layers, and when baked, it expands greatly to achieve a crunchy texture. The pie crust is made with a lot of French fermented butter which is said to be the most delicious in the world. Therefore, you can enjoy the sweet and rich aroma when it is baked and the unique aftertaste of butter. The original custard cream is made with fragrant vanilla, rich egg, slightly sweet milk, and soy milk cheese cream made by fermenting soy milk with lactic acid bacteria.

The authentic taste of this restaurant has been highly evaluated, and it has been picked up by many media including stores in Kamakura, and it has become a popular restaurant loved by local people. At our new store in Asakusa, we are looking forward to serving you both our food and souvenir menus. Enjoy this sweet apple pie that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to the elderly.
